The WP model by Strider Knives is a compact, lightweight fixed blade option that you can strap to your pack or person and hardly notice until you need it. This piece is made from hand ground PSF-27 with a subtle trailing point and Tiger Stripe coated featuring a Black Paracord wrapped handle. The same Strider bite in a smaller, more concealable package.

Blade: The subtle trailing point profile delivers excellent slicing and piercing performance thanks to the hand ground hollow grind and nearly full length upper swedge. The nearly ¹⁄₄" thick, full tang blade delivers durability for reliability during serious hard use while the coating leaves the WP discreetly non-reflective and enhances corrosion resistance. The M. Strider logos/steel type are stamped into the front and back of the blade.

Handle: The paracord wrapped handle fills the hand nicely and provides a lanyard extension off the bottom. A subtle integral guard at the blade delivers added security. Paracord holds up well in the elements and is easily replaceable if it becomes worn.

Sheath: Carries via a molded Kydex sheath with Velcro loop for attachment.

PSF-27: PSF27 is a tool steel similar in composition to D2 that is produced using a Spray Forming Process which involves melting the steel, pouring it through a ceramic nozzle which breaks it into droplets by an array of gas jets. The droplets collect and build up to form a spray-formed billet. This produces an extremely fine-grained homogeneous steel which offers increased toughness, wear resistance, crack resistance, and higher hardness compared to traditional ingot steel.
