SVORD Knives Hog Beater HB Dagger Swedish Carbon Steel Fixed Blade

Like the Arkansas Toothpick, the SVORD Knives Hog Beater is a large, heavy dagger bordering on a short sword. As the name implies this is a pig hunting knife design though it makes a formidable combat tool with its burly construction and wide cross guard. This piece has a full tang Swedish carbon steel blade and dark Wenge wood handle scales.

Blade: The double edge blade tapers from ~6 mm at the guard to a fine, piercing tip making this hefty blade a devastating slasher as well. Satin finished convex edges come razor sharp and offer solid strength with strop-friendly maintenance. Forge finished flats are practical and appealing.

Handle: Dark Wenge hardwood handle scales come attached via strong Corby bolts to the full tang topped with a steel s-guard offering added safety during use. A hole at the pommel allows lanyard attachment for added security.

Sheath: Carries via a leather drop loop belt sheath.

Swedish Carbon Steel: Either 15N20 or L6, this is a simple high nickel carbon steel similar to 1084. Takes a fine, razor like edge with high toughness. Low edge retention and corrosion resistance.
