The Nomad fixed blade from custom maker Tom Krein is a classic, Bowie-style fixed blade design with Krein's signature ergonomic handle design and cutting performance-oriented grinds. This clip point, outdoor EDC knife is a slicing powerhouse offering 3" of razor-sharp cutting edge while Tom's blasted Blue and Black G10 handle provides comfort and control thanks to his intuitively ergonomic design.

Blade: The Bowie-style clip point blade of the Nomad delivers the performance of a full-size hunting blade with enhanced maneuverability and Tom's performance-driven geometry. The Satin Finished D2 tool steel blade is hollow ground to deliver a very fine edge that provides excellent cutting performance while retaining durability at the spine. A top swedge tapers to deliver a fine tip for piercing and detail work. The full tang construction is beautifully satin-finished with the Krein Knives Logo and D2 marked on the blade. An integrated index guard pairs with Tom's iconic handle design for security in the hand. The Nomad is adaptable and at home in any environment.

Handle: Ergonomically designed, blasted Blue and Black G10 handle scales are contoured for unparalleled comfort in the hand with milled holes to reduce weight and enhance traction. The curving, neutral handle design locks the hand in without compromising versatility for multiple grips. The scales are attached via two G10 pin and a hollow lanyard tube.

Sheath: Ships in a custom-fit black Kydex sheath with large Tek-Lok for carry.

D2 Tool Steel: D2 is a cold work tool steel that has been used as a die-cutting steel since WW II. D2 has a high chromium content for a tool steel (10-13%) which gives it greater corrosion resistance than most high carbon steels making it semi-stainless. D2 offers a good combination of toughness, corrosion resistance and wear resistance for a good all-around knife steel.
