The TK-4 custom fixed blade from Tom Krein is one of Tom's iconic signature designs with his highly ergonomic handle construction and performance oriented hollow ground blade. This Mini-Bowie is a slicing powerhouse offering just over 2.75 inches of razor sharp cutting edge in a compact, EDC platform. This version comes with a satin finished Nitro-V blade and Brown Canvas Micarta handles with speed hole milling and black Micarta pins.

Blade: The short blade of the TK-4 offers the performance of a full size hunting blade with the maneuverability of a bird and trout knife. The satin finished Nitro-V stainless steel blade is hollow ground to deliver a very fine edge that provides excellent cutting performance while retaining durability at the spine. The iconic clip point of the Bowie tapers to deliver a fine tip for piercing and detail work. An integrated index guard pairs with the unique handle design and spine jimping for security in the hand. While technically a hunting design the TK-4 is equally functional for daily carry or woodcraft.

Handle: Attached to the full tang construction, ergonomic Brown Canvas Micarta handle scales are smooth and contoured for comfort with speed hole milling for added traction. Black Micarta pins add a subtle visual element while the curving, neutral handle design locks the hand in without compromising versatility for multiple grip options. An oversize hollow tube is provided for lanyard attachment.

Sheath: Carries via a Kydex sheath with large Tek-Lok.

Nitro-V Stainless Steel: Essentially AEB-L with added Nitrogen and Vanadium, Nitro-V is a very fine-grained, easy to sharpen steel with good edge retention and excellent edge stability allowing a thinner edge and enhanced slicing ability. Nitrogen greatly improves corrosion resistance.
