The TK-3 Whitetail Hunter fixed blade from custom maker Tom Krein is a classic fixed blade design with Krein's signature ergonomic handle design and performance oriented blade grind. This drop point hunting knife is a slicing powerhouse offering nearly 3 inches of razor sharp cutting edge with an ergonomically designed handle that provides comfort and control. This version comes with a satin finished Nitro-V blade and speed hole milled, blasted Jade green G10 handle scales over black liners with black Micarta pins.

Blade: The drop point blade of the TK-3 offers the performance of a full size hunting blade with the maneuverability of a bird & trout knife. Satin finished Nitro-V stainless steel is hollow ground to a very fine edge providing excellent cutting performance with solid durability. A top swedge tapers to deliver a fine tip for piercing and detail work while aggressive jimping on the spine provides added traction. An integral guard pairs with Tom's iconic handle design and spine jimping for security in the hand. While technically a hunting design the TK-3 is fully functional as an EDC or woodcraft fixed blade as well.

Handle: Ergonomically designed, blasted G10 handle scales are textured and contoured for traction and unparalleled comfort in the hand with added security from the weight reducing speed hole milling. The curving, neutral handle design locks the hand in without compromising versatility for multiple grips. Scales are attached via a dual Micarta pins and a hollow lanyard tube.

Carries via a custom molded black Kydex sheath with large Tek-Lok.

Nitro-V Stainless Steel: Essentially AEB-L with added Nitrogen and Vanadium, Nitro-V is a very fine-grained, easy to sharpen steel with good edge retention and excellent edge stability allowing a thinner edge and enhanced slicing ability. Nitrogen greatly improves corrosion resistance.
