TOPS HAKET Lumberjack Ax and Knife Tool

The original HAKET (Hawk and Knife Emergency Tool) debuted at the 2010 SHOT Show and was designed to be a survival tool that could be used as a hatchet, spike, knife, scraper, and more. The Lumberjack HAKET is being produced in response to demand for a larger ax head while still having multipurpose capabilities perfect for an outdoor survival tool. Thanks to the lightweight, multi-function design the HAKET is a perfect tool to add to a bug out bag, throw in the truck or hiking kit just to name a few.

Head: The modular head of the HAKET Lumberjack is made from 1095 high carbon tool steel with a durable Black Traction powder coat for a non-reflective, corrosion resistant finish. The enlarged ax offers 4.5 inches of cutting edge for more efficient chopping while the 'pole' of the head has a robust, clip point profile knife blade. Both blades can be utilized in the ax configuration or the head can be removed from the handle to use in a variety of ways.

Handle: The handle is made from Chrome Moly steel tubing with the same black powder coating and a secure paracord wrap and lanyard for a secure grip. The blade is attached with heavy duty steel hardware for reliable use and can be attached in multiple ways for added utility.

Sheath: Carries via Deluxe nylon belt pouch with kydex blade covers.

1095 High Carbon Tool Steel: Highly popular, simple carbon steel. Used extensively by both production and custom knife makers. Low abrasive wear due to low carbide content but very tough and easy to sharpen. Not corrosion resistant and will rust without proper care.
