Small yet sharp and tenacious, the ferret has been domesticated for 2,500 years and is still used in some parts of the world for hunting rabbits. The TOPS Ferret is an easily concealable EDC neck knife that lends itself to utility work while being a fearsome last resort personal defense tool. The Ferret comes with a blade of Black Traction Coated 1095 and Black Linen Micarta handle scales.

Blade: The 1095 carbon steel blade is compact, coming in at under 2 inches, while being a robust and capable cutting tool. A high saber grind delivers balanced performance with jimping on the spine for traction and a non-reflective and corrosion resistant Black Traction powder coat finish for discreet use.

Handle: A full tang construction supports TOPS' classic Black Linen Micarta handle scales over contrasting white liners forming a simple, ergonomic handle. Comfortable yet compact, the handle can be utilized with a two- or three-finger grip depending on hand size.

Sheath: Carries via a Black Kydex sheath with stainless ball chain.

1095 High Carbon Steel: Highly popular, simple carbon steel. Used extensively by both production and custom knife makers. Low abrasive wear due to low carbide content but very tough and easy to sharpen. Not corrosion resistant and will rust without proper care. TOPS utilizes a differential heat treat process which delivers a harder edge and tougher spine.
