TOPS Knives Sneaky Pete Acid Rain 1095 Black Canvas Micarta

The Sneaky Pete from TOPS Knives is a clever backup built to accompany your tactical outfit. It's lean, mean and fully capable of helping you out in a pinch. This one features TOPS' Acid Rain finish on the steel with complimenting Black Canvas Micarta handle scales for grip and comfort.

The Blade: A healthy piercer done in a clip-style configuration with wicked upper swedge grind (unsharpened). The swooping plain cutting edge comes razor sharp and will be easy to re-sharpen in the field. TOPS gave this companion their Acid Rain (acid stonewash) finish for a dark, subdued demeanor that not only looks cool but wears well over time. The spine is left smooth for choking up on Pete with the slightest of jimping just behind a humped ramp. Slice, dice and protect everything nice. 

The Handle: Black canvas micarta scales are smoothed and contoured for a killer grip in any environment. A solid finger groove up front and lower treads toward the back provide traction in forward or reverse holds. 3 tiny brass tubes complete subtle, nonchalant construction with a handy lanyard loop cutout near the end. It doubles as a knocker in an emergency. 

The Sheath: Black Kydex with a rotating spring steel clip for attachment to you or your gear. 

1095 High Carbon Tool Steel: Highly popular, simple carbon steel. Used extensively by both production and custom knife makers. Low abrasive wear due to low carbide content but very tough and easy to sharpen. Not corrosion resistant and will rust without proper care.
