TOPS M-PAT Coyote Tan 1095 Canvas Micarta Tactical Fixed Blade MPAT-01

Designed by US service member Seth Brown the TOPS M-PAT was built for fighter jet aircrew and maintains a slim profile for unobtrusive carry. The recognizable profile is updated with a modern, rugged full tang build making this a reliable combat field knife and survival tool. When you need it the M-PAT will be secure and ready on your combat vest, riggers belt or load bearing equipment thanks to the Kydex sheath with secondary retention strap. This version comes with a Coyote Tan Cerakote 1095 carbon steel blade and milled tan canvas Micarta handle scales.

Blade: The 3/16” thick carbon steel blade comes with a durable, non-reflective Coyote Tan Cerakote coating for enhanced corrosion resistance and discreet use. A familiar profile, the saber ground clip point sports large dual fullers and provides a balance of utility and strength for survival and defensive use. Spine jimping delivers traction for added safety in heavy use.

Handle: The full tang construction supports hand filling scales of contoured and traction milled canvas Micarta over black liners attached with black stainless steel hardware. The scales are tough and weather resistant pairing with a prominent guard and bird's beak pommel for a secure grip in any situation. An exposed portion of the tang at the pommel can be used as an impact tool and lanyard attachment point.

Sheath: Carries via a Kydex sheath with retention strap and removable metal spring clips.

1095 Carbon Steel: A simple, extensively used carbon steel with low edge retention and corrosion resistance. Easy to sharpen to a fine edge, 1095 can be differentially heat treated (hard edge/soft spine) for optimized performance.
