TOPS RPG Road Pup Goyo Black G10 1095 Fixed Blade Knife (3.50" Blade) RPG-01

The TOPS RPG Road Pup Goyo is a compact fixed blade that doubles as a tool kit, a high-ground 1095 drop point over black G10. It rides scout-style in Kydex as an everyday carry knife for cord, carving or repairs.

• Tungsten Gray Cerakote 1095 Drop Point Blade - A high grind on thin stock leaves a fine drop point under flat matte Tungsten Gray Cerakote. 1095 is a mid-grade carbon steel that leads on toughness and comes back on an ordinary stone. It is not stainless, so keep it dry with a film of oil after use.
• Hex Driver & Camp Tools - The pommel takes a standard 1/4-inch hex bit, and a rare-earth magnet behind it holds the bit seated under load. The bottom guard carries a bottle opener and ferro rod striker, while the top of the blade has a grab hook for lifting a hot pot.
• Full Tang Black G10 Handle - Black G10 scales run smooth and matte rather than coarse, mounted with black screws over a full tang. A jimped thumb ramp tops the spine and a finger choil sits just ahead of the scales.
• Kydex Sheath with Removable Loops - Molded Kydex clicks the knife in and holds it, requiring a firm pull to release. Two notches in the body can carry a pair of bits, and the beta loops mount it scout-style on Pull-the-Dot snaps. The loops come off, allowing the knife to drive a screw with the blade still covered.

The TOPS RPG Road Pup Goyo is a compact fixed blade built to stand in for a small tool kit. It started with a problem its designer kept hitting on cross-country motorcycle trips, digging through a gear bag in the dark for a driver while already wearing a knife he could find by feel. Bernabe Velarde of Big B Leatherworks worked the fix out with TOPS owner Leo Espinoza, cutting a standard hex receiver into the pommel and seating a rare-earth magnet behind it to hold a bit under load. The other tools are placed the same way, gathered near the handle so a striker, a hook and an opener stay off the working edge. The knife is built small on purpose, and the thin high grind that comes with that size makes it a slicer first, while remaining a handy traveling companion at all times.
