This TOPS Trailhead Kukri comes with a Sniper Grey Cerakote finished 1095 steel blade and black canvas micarta handles.
- Blade: Recurved kukri-style has a wide drop with distinct point for slicing, chopping and piercing cuts. It is built from TOPS famous differentially heat treated 1095 carbon steel with a protective Cerakote finish.
- Handle: Karambit style with ringed butt end for additional grip and different holds for whatever the situation calls for. Black canvas micarta over red liners creates the solid feel in all conditions.
- Carry: Black molded Kydex sheath with IWB loops for horizontal carry or easy attachment to gear.
The TOPS Trailhead Kukri
The TOPS Trailhead Kukri was designed by Jason Swain to be a kukri/karambit blend that's not too big to EDC, but tough enough to handle any task. The kukri blade portion creates a downward angle perfect for batoning wood for the fire while a spine notch can lift the hot pot off of it. Its ringed karambit end lends itself to more grip for larger or gloved hands and a solid hold. Secure this one to your person or pack and hit the trail.
