Trash Panda Knives F Off Stonewashed CPM-3V Grooved Carbon Fiber Fixed Blade Knife 4654
Trash Panda Knives is a collaborative project including custom knife makers Aaron Frederick, John W Smith and CJ Smith that offers extreme hard use knives that are built to use and take on whatever you can throw at them. The F Off fixed blade is a stout Wharncliffe that lends itself to utility and martial use, carrying like a small knife and cutting like a big one. This version comes with a stonewashed CPM-3V blade and grooved carbon fiber handle scales.
Brand new directly from Trash Panda Knives.
Blade: The straight edge, CPM 3V Wharncliffe blade comes with a rugged stonewashed finish that hides wear from heavy use. A mid-height hollow grind delivers excellent, razor-like slicing performance while retaining thickness at the spine for durability. A swedge tapers the blade to a fine, piercing point.
Handle: The full tang blade supports a generous, hand-filling handle of blasted and contoured carbon fiber with milled traction grooves. The handle cants down from the blade to form an integral guard for added safety. The pistol-like grip allows for a close and secure grip for a variety of tasks.
Sheath: Carries via a leather belt sheath.
CPM-3V: A high carbon alloy steel that is extremely tough and has enough chromium to have some corrosion resistance. Care and maintain is required. High toughness translates to a stable edge that can be ground thin for enhanced performance. 3V has good edge retention, approaching VG-10 and CPM-154, with more than 3x the toughness.
