TRM Holier Nerd Jet Black G10 3D Contoured MagnaCut Liner Lock Knife (2.20" Blade)

This TRM Holier Nerd comes in Jet Black G10, 3D contoured and matte smooth under the palm. It is a small liner lock folder for fifth pocket or waistband carry, ground thin for boxes, cord, and the light work of a day.

• Jet Black G10 3D Contoured Scales - The G10 is milled to a rounded 3D contour and finished matte, smooth against the palm rather than coarse. Titanium liners sit pocketed down inside them, and the scales are replaceable, with TRM selling Nerd scale sets direct.
• The Cutout Opener & Liner Lock - TRM cut the oval through the blade, chamfered the edges, and etched the logo into it. The blade turns on phosphor bronze washers and comes open smooth and controlled rather than snapping, and a titanium liner springs over behind the tang.
• MagnaCut Tumbled Flat Grind Blade - TRM cuts the blade from thin stock and takes the flat grind its full height, with bevels wide enough to sharpen back to a razor edge. The finish is a two part tumble, deburred and then polished in ceramic balls.
• Mini Deep Carry Titanium Clip - The clip is titanium, bent deep and set tip up on the right. Titanium barrel spacers and a stainless steel pivot keep the visible hardware to a minimum, and the whole knife weighs about what a golf ball does.

The TRM Holier Nerd folds a locking blade into a knife that rides in the fifth pocket of a pair of jeans, which is the whole of what it was built for. Thin is how a blade that short stays a cutting tool instead of a novelty, so it gets the same grind the full size models do. Customers shaped the rest of it, starting with a blade profile that came out of months of feedback. When Kevin Wells, a regular in the Facebook group, asked TRM to cut the machined oval clean through so the knife would flick, the shop that Les and Marianne Halpern have run in Massachusetts since 1997 moved the opening, chamfered the edges, and etched the logo into it.
