Innovative custom knife designer Snecx Tan has teamed up with WE Knives to offer a smaller, production version of his exquisite Buster design. Engineered to have a perfect balance in the hand, the Mini Buster is a marvelous feat of technical engineering in the form of an elegant and functional cutting tool. Sized for everyday carry, the Mini Buster is still a robust tool capable of some serious work thanks to 4 mm thick CPM-20CV blade and beefy titanium handle construction. This version comes with a silver bead blasted CPM-20CV blade and tiger stripe flamed titanium handles.

Blade: The 4 mm thick 20CV modified Sheepsfoot blade has a high full flat grind for exceptional slicing performance and durability with enough point for piercing while offering enhanced safety. A caged double row ceramic bearing pivot provides smooth operation opening via the minimalist flipper tab. Decisive deployment is achieved via a hardened steel pin open detent system developed by Snecx. The hardened stainless steel pin is chamfered to offer smooth action and optimal detent tension while doubling as the lock interface much like the Ceramic Ball Detent utilized by Chris Reeve Knives.

Handle: Heavily milled and chamfered the beefy titanium handle is surprisingly lightweight with solid ergonomics and balance. The integral frame lock with steel pin detent insert delivers smooth, reliable lockup for the life of the knife. A proud back spacer delivers a more contoured feel and houses the additional height of the blade in the internally milled channel, protecting the cutting edge when closed.

Carries via a right-hand milled titanium pocket clip.

CPM-20CV: CPM-20CV (analog to M390 and CTS-204P) is a premium powder metallurgy (PM) stainless steel with high level edge retention and corrosion resistance. Relatively easy to sharpen, the coarse microstructure gives this steel lower toughness.
