Zero Tolerance 0920 Sprint 3D Tan Titanium Tiger Stripe 20CV Flipper

The Limited Edition Sprint 0920TTS Flipper from Zero Tolerance Knives is based on custom maker Les George's Harpy model to be a tough, clean looking knife you can rely on. It utilizes ZT's KVT ball-bearing pivot system, Tan Anodized Titanium Handle and boasts premium Tiger Stripe finished CPM 20CV blade steel.

The Blade: Substantial 3.9 inch drop point on the 0920 featuring a slight recurve and belly to tackle slicing chores for days. It's built from Crucible's 20CV stainless tool steel utilizing the Particle Metallurgy Process for far superior edge retention and corrosion resistance. Fully, and uniquely Tiger Stripe finished plain edge to hide the wear and tear of hard use with a pronounced upper swedged peak near the tip. The reinforced tip will assure strength for penetrating tough materials. A large scoop is cut out of the spine just past the thumb rest adding unique styling and a place to fit your thumb while choking up on finer cutting tasks. It opens effortlessly and quickly via an integral flipper tab riding on the KVT bearings pivot system.  

The Handle: Two thick slabs of titanium feature a handsome Tan bead-blasted finish prior to a highly sophisticated 3D machining process. This process smooths out the edges and adds completely even textured lines on the flats aiding in grip and comfort. To reduce weight, ZT machined lightening pockets from the insides of the handle adding quite the custom touch without compromising strength. A subtle dab of accenting color is added to this overall clean design in the form of black coated aluminum tube spacers and tan titanium clip. The clip is bent to form and reversible for left/right tip up pocket or pack carry. Black hardware completes the George 0920 package.

About CPM-20CV: A highly wear resistant, powder metallurgy stainless tool steel. This steel contains a large volume of extremely hard vanadium carbides which provide excellent wear resistance. CPM-20CV contains the highest amount of chromium of any high-vanadium stainless steel currently available. The chromium-rich matrix provides outstanding corrosion resistance.
