Zero Tolerance 0609PUR Sprint Run Gray 20CV KVT Purple Titanium Frame Lock Flipper

The Zero Tolerance 0609 is a scaled down and simplified version of the Zero Tolerance Factory Custom 0606CF also designed by RJ and Matt Martin. The clean and streamlined design retains the visual appeal with contoured and textured 3D Machined titanium with a striking Purple Anodized finish.

This is a Limited Edition Sprint Run with a Gray PVD Coated CPM 20CV Blade and full titanium handle construction with purple anodized finish.

Blade: The matte PVD Coated blade of the 0609PUR deploys fast and smooth thanks the KVT bearing pivot and index flipper. Inside of the pivot is where all the action is. The oversize See-Through Pivot (STP) designed by RJ Martin is hollow allowing a clear view through the knife. The CPM 20CV blade offers optimal performance in durability, edge retention and corrosion resistance with added protection from the DLC Coating. The clip point blade sports a subtle recurve for a sharp look and a high height flat grind for great slicing performance. The blade is very discreet thanks to the non-reflective finish. Jimping that runs down the spine into the handle adds additional traction.

Handle: The titanium frame lock is equipped with a hardened steel lock face insert for smooth, solid operation. Both titanium scales are anodized purple over the eye-catching 3D milling that adds tons of visual appeal to the sleek lines of the 0609. The bottom of the handle has a spot of jimping near the rear and some moderate finger grooves for security and comfort. The 0609 has an open pivot and open back construction both ceramic bead blasted and carries via a reversible (tip-up) DLC Coated pocket clip.

CPM 20CV: This super stainless steel is the Crucible analog of Bohler M390 and offers the same great wear resistance and corrosion resistance while being relatively easy to sharpen and taking a very fine edge. 20CV works well with both coarse and polished edge finishes but 15°per side is needed to support the hard carbides that give 20CV its high-end cutting performance.
