Alan Folts is best known for his custom Minimalist design. The Folts Minimalist is a small fixed blade design that can perform a variety of functions. This innovative little fixed blade is perfect for everyday tasks and strong enough to use in a survival situation. The Folts Minimalist has ergonomic finger grooves and an integral lanyard which provide a comfortable grip on a small blade. Each of the lightweight Minimalists includes a kydex neck sheath and cord for carry. Columbia River Knife and Tool found the Minimalist to be so inventive, they licensed the design and are currently manufacturing three different production versions.
