The Blade: The clip point profile blade is made from stain finished S30V which delivers a balance of toughness, edge retention and corrosion resistance for optimal field performance. The clip point blade is a classic profile that provides both the fine point and sweeping belling that make it a time tested choice for a hunting blade. Phosphor bronze washers and the AXIS lock mechanism make for fast and smooth deployment with one hand via on of the dual thumb studs. The Mini Crooked River is easy to operate one handed even in gloves.

The Handle: .The Mini Crooked River is built on the same robust, skeletonized stainless steel liner platform. This produces a rock solid platform for the AXIS lock mechanism which supplies true ambidextrous operation and some of the most secure lockup in the industry. Over the steel liners we have some very attractive, contoured stabilized wood handles and anodized aluminum bolsters. This handle combination gives a very classic look and a warm feel in the hand. An orange pivot ring and G10 backspacer add highlights of color for an eye-catching style that also helps make the knife easy to find in the woods.

The Mini Crooked River carries via the same reversible (tip-up), stainless steel, "Split Arrow" pocket clip that comes in a Black Oxide finish for discreet carry.

CPM S30V: A martensitic, powdered stainless steel with high levels of wear and corrosion resistance. Its chemistry promotes the formation and even distribution of vanadium carbides, which are harder and more effective at cutting than chromium carbides. This gives it a very refined grain, further improving the sharpness and toughness. S30V is a great, all around steel with high levels of performance.
