The Benchmade 945 is a Mini version of the classic Osborne design that offers the same lightweight and strong AXIS lock platform in a more compact platform perfect for urban carry. The 945BK-1 comes with black G-10 handles and a black Cerakote finished, CPM-S30V Reverse Tanto blade. Blue accents are a sweet touch.

Blade: Scaled down to a sub-3 inch length, the utilitarian reverse Tanto blade profile is robust enough to tackle your daily cutting tasks. Smooth, ambidextrous dual thumb stud operation offers fast, one handed access while the high saber grind and top swedge deliver a good balance of durability and slicing performance. The reverse Tanto point enhances durability while retaining solid piercing power. Poly-ceramic black Cerakote is durable and discreetly non-reflective while enhancing corrosion resistance.

Handle: Contoured black G10 handle scales provide ergonomic comfort and a lightweight, durable handle option. Blue liners and barrel spacers add a subtle visual appeal while forming an easy to maintain, open back construction. A neutral handle design allows for multiple grips adding versatility with while the ambidextrous AXIS lock is smooth and reliable with rock solid lockup.

CPM-S30V: A powdered stainless steel with high levels of edge retention and corrosion resistance S30V was developed specifically for use in knife blades. The powdered process gives it a very refined grain, improving the sharpness and toughness. S30V is a great, all around steel with high levels of performance.
