Blade: A classic, utilitarian drop point blade with a nearly full flat grind delivers solid overall utility in the office or the field. A durable poly-ceramic Cerakote delivers a matte gray finish for a discreet look and added corrosion resistance. American S30V stainless steel delivers balanced performance with ease of maintenance, while dual anodized thumb studs provide smooth, ambidextrous operation on the rugged bronze washer pivot.

Handle: Lightweight, tough, and weather resistant, the diamond textured Grivory polymer offers plenty of traction without being aggressive on your hands or pockets. Anodized barrel spacers create an easy to clean open back construction. Benchmade opted for a high durability coated titanium AXIS lock bar, raising the bar on toughness and corrosion resistance while maintaining a featherweight 1.85 ounces.

CPM-S30V: A PM stainless steel developed specifically for use in knife blades, S30V has a high level of wear resistance (edge retention) with good corrosion resistance, better than 440C or 420HC. The powdered process refines the grain, improving performance for a balanced blade steel. Toughness is comparable to other PM stainless steels.
