This Plain Edge version comes with a black Grivory handle and Cobalt Black Cerakote coated blade.

Blade: Finished in non-reflective and durable poly-ceramic Cerakote coating, the drop point blade offers balanced durability and slicing performance with high saber grind and subtle top swedge for piercing with a clean slicing plain cutting edge. CPM-D2 offers good edge retention and toughness for the rigors of daily use, with enhanced corrosion resistance from the coating. With the safety off, the blade deploys with a snap at the press of the button.

Handle: Full black stainless-steel liners form a rock solid foundation for the textured and contoured polymer scales. A subtle dual guard locks the knife in the hand along with the molded traction texture. Barrel spacers form the open construction, which reduces weight and makes for easy of cleaning. The button lock is strong, smooth, and reliable in operation.

Carries via a reversible black deep carry clip.

CPM-D2: In use since WW II standard ingot D2 is a semi-stainless tool steel with good corrosion resistance and edge retention. CPM-D2 is cleaner, with a more refined grain structure and significantly better strength and toughness compared to ordinary D2.
