If slicing is the task, then the tip-to-heel belly of the trailing point Meatcrafter will get the job done, especially with the razor sharp 14-degree SelectEdge. This version comes with an S45VN in hi-viz orange Cerakote and carbon fiber handle scales.

Blade: The flat ground trailing point is an exceptional slicer as well as having a refined tip for piercing and detail work. Designed for use in the kitchen and the field, this knife makes a solid slicing or boning knife for food prep after pulling duty skinning and field dressing. Equipped with Benchmade's 14-degree SelectEdge the S45VN blade provides a fine, smooth edge to trim, debone, and slice while being easier to hone after use. Engineered blade flex makes this a great choice for fillet use, while the corrosion resistant orange Cerakote coating makes it easy to find in the field.

Handle: The full tang construction supports contoured, hand filling carbon fiber handle scales. A palm swell, pronounced guard and bird's beak pommel provide added safety with a taper toward the blade that allows for multiple grip positions. Carbon fiber delivers a stylish, lightweight and high-performance handle.

Sheath: Carries via a molded, orange and black Boltaron polymer sheath.
