Details

Developed in the USA for use in agriculture as early as the 18th century the Rangebuster (a.k.a. Sodbuster) is a simple, lightweight and robust traditional pocket knife reminiscent of the Solingen Hippekniep. The Boker Rangebuster is equipped with a reliable back lock, satin finished N690 drop point blade, and linen Micarta handles. This version comes with deep maroon Micarta scales and brass pins.

Brand new, direct from Boker, Solingen.

Blade: A flat ground, drop point blade of cryo treated N690 stainless steel is delivered in a fine satin finish. Utilitarian in design, the blade opens via a classic serrated nail nick and provides plenty of cutting edge to handle daily cutting tasks with ease.

Handle: Decorative brass pins attach the handsome linen Micarta handle scales to the blade and stainless lock bar and back spring. Contoured for comfort, Micarta offers traction and a warm in hand feel with modern durability and weather resistance. The back lock mechanism is time tested and reliable for secure operation. A hole at the pommel allows for lanyard attachment on this clipless modern traditional.

Bohler N690: N690 is a high quality stainless steel with performance similar to Japanese VG-10 with high level corrosion resistance, good edge retention and ease of sharpening.
