Blade: The iconic Stockman pattern is delivered in a slim, full-sized, single blade version. It sports the iconic clip point main blade in acid washed 4034 stainless steel with a generous long pull nail nick coming in at just under three inches. Acid washed and tumbled the blade gains additional protection against corrosion and hides wear from use. The blade open on a smooth, slip joint operation and comes with a full flat grind for excellent slicing performance.
Handle: Brass liners support warm, handsome pinned Thuya wood scales for an enduring style and a classic look. The scales are framed with handsome satin nickel silver bolsters. The front scale is embellished with the Boker Tree Brand Shield. A stainless steel back spring delivers smooth yet snappy operation.
4034 Stainless Steel: A German equivalent to AISI 420HC, 4034 is a stainless steel that provides excellent rust resistance, ease of re-sharpening and moderate edge retention while being exceptionally tough for a stainless steel. Performance in edge retention can approach VG10 based on heat treat.
