The Buck 110 Folding Hunter

Al Buck introduced the 110 Folding Hunter in 1964, built around a lockback mechanism that gave a folding knife the same confidence as a fixed blade for the first time on this scale. The design paired brass bolsters with a wood handle and a clip point blade, a combination that became the template for the modern folding hunter. The lockback release sits on the spine of the handle, freeing the blade to fold back down with a press of the thumb. Buck still builds the 110 on that same platform at its Post Falls, Idaho factory.
