Designed by Legacy Employee David Yellowhorse, a 30 year veteran of Buck Knives, the 110 Running Free is highly customized version of the iconic Buck 110. The extremely limited nature of the production makes this knife a must-have for Buck Collectors. The Running Free makes the 110 a canvas with an engraved scene of wild horses galloping across a mesa under the light of the full moon. The scene is executed in polished nickel silver, Black Jet and Bloody Jasper for a very striking look. This is truly a piece of art!

The Blade: The blade is made from BOS Heat Treated 420HC offers great toughness and corrosion resistance with good edge retention, ease of sharpening and razor sharpness. The deep hollow grind on this clip point blade would make this a proficient slicer, if you could bring yourself to use it. Opens via a generous nail nick just like the original.

The Handle: Made in a classic back lock construction just like the original this knife is elevated to a work of art by designer David Yellowhorse. The polished nickel silver bolsters each show a detailed scene of the full moon rising over two mesas with hammer textured backgrounds. The main scene is framed by strips of rich Bloody Jasper and Nickel silver and show three wild horse galloping under the light of a full moon with mesas in the background. The sky and ground are laid out in Black Jet while the horses, mesas and moon are all in polished nickel silver. This is a piece that you'll want to display prominently in your collection and thanks to the included walnut box with glass top it will be a breeze.
