Designed by Legacy Buck employee Jeff Legerton, the 923 Skinner has been elevated in both style and performance for this limited production Legacy edition. With a satin finished, Paul Bos heat treated 154cm blade the Skinner would deliver excellent performance in the field but with the beautiful handle of stacked Water Buffalo Horn, Palm Wood and fretted Black Micarta we doubt you will ever take it there. A true collector's piece, this is a numbered, ultra-limited production of 100 pieces. Made in the USA and backed by the Buck "Forever" Warranty.

Blade: The satin finished, Bos treated, 154cm stainless steel blade is ground with an angled hollow grind that offers a unique balance of durability, control and cutting performance perfect for a skinning knife platform. Stainless steel construction also means that maintenance to prevent corrosion on this collector's piece will be minimal.

Handle: With traditional through-tang construction the blade is fitted into a beautiful stacked handle of Water buffalo horn and Palm wood with fretted black Micarta handle spacers which provided a subtle contrasting detail and really bring out the grain of the palm wood. Separating blade and handle is a heavily textured nickel silver finger guard that both enhances the aesthetics and provides added safety if you can ever bring yourself to use this beautiful piece.

Legacy Edition: Comes with a distressed, brown leather belt sheath, glass top Walnut wood display box and Certificate of Authenticity.

154CM: Crucible 154CM is an improved version of 440C with added molybdenum offering improved corrosion resistance and edge retention, as well as a higher level wear resistance. Proprietary Paul Bos heat treatment generally enhances the performance of this steel.
