The 0543ODS is the Pro Series Caper knife, the smallest and thinnest of the Open Season line, made from CPM S35VN with a contoured OD Green Micarta making this knife a nearly indestructible skinning powerhouse.

The Blade: BOS Heat Treated CPM S35VN offers enhanced toughness over S30V while still delivering excellent edge holding and corrosion resistance. The high hollow ground blade slices though the toughest hides with ease while the thumb scoop and jimping at the spine provide optimal control of the small, slender blade. A finger coil adds additional security in the hand as well as enhanced control for precise cutting. The thin blade stock makes the Caper one of the most efficient slicers in this line of knives.

The Handle: The sweeping handles of the 543 are made from contoured and textured OD Green canvas Micarta. Micarta is super durable, weather resistant and high traction material that provides a secure grip even in wet conditions. The full tang construction makes the Open Season Caper tough enough serious cutting tasks while the slim design offers exceptional control without sacrificing comfort. A generous hole is provided for lanyard attachment.
