Details
A smaller version of the classic working knife, the Sod Buster Jr. is easy to carry and ready to get the job done. A simple, sturdy single blade slip joint, the Jr. has a practical skinner blade and generous handle. This version comes with a Tru-Sharp stainless-steel blade and handsome Rogers Corn Cob jigged antique bone covers.
Brand new directly from W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Co.
Blade: The wide skinner blade of satin polished Tru-Sharp stainless-steel has a deep hollow grind for balanced performance and durability. The blade opens smoothly via the nail nick opener with a solid snap from the back spring keeping the blade secure and ready to use.
Handle: Rogers Corn Cob jigged antique bone covers deliver a rustic look and feel. Brass liners house the blade and spring, which delivers a snappy slip joint operation. The handle front sports a polished Bowtie shield.
Case Tru-Sharp: Case Tru-Sharp is another name for 420HC, a stainless steel that provides excellent rust resistance, ease of re-sharpening and moderate edge retention while being exceptionally tough for a stainless steel. With appropriate heat treatment, it is said to preform similarly to VG-10 in wear resistance.
