Simple, elegant, functional and utilitarian, the Elementum from CIVIVI knives is an exercise in minimalism, delivering everything that is essential to an everyday carry folder with nothing frivolous or impractical. The Button Lock Elementum gets a scale-up to just under 8 inches overall with a Sandvik 14c28n stainless steel blade and button lock mechanism as the name implies. Press the button and a flick of the wrist deploys the blade with fluid speed on the ceramic bearing pivot. This version comes with a gray stonewashed blade and dark green Micarta handles.

Blade: Made from Sandvik 14c28n, the utilitarian drop point blade has a tapered swedge and high hollow grind, providing solid slicing and piercing performance. A subtle choil offers easy sharpening. A caged ceramic ball bearing pivot offers fast, smooth operation of the blade by pressing the button and flicking the wrist. The gray stonewashed finish is discretely non-reflective while hiding wear from use.

Handle: Black stainless steel liners support rugged Micarta handle scales, with the liners riding proud to deliver a more contoured feel in the hand. Simple in design, the handles are comfortable and secure with solid ergonomics. The button lock is smooth, simple, and reliable for operation and keeps the closed profile sleek and clean.
