ESEE Laser Strike Micarta Kydex Sheath

The ESEE Laser Strike with Canvas Micarta handle is a solid, all-around utility and survival knife capable of handling any outdoor chore. It features a large spear point blade crafted from 1095 tool steel and given a black powder coat finish. The spear point is ideal from drilling and piercing tasks yet has the belly for slicing. The hollow Micarta handle scales contain a ferro rod and tinder tabs for emergency fire starting and a steel washer for striking attached to the kydex sheath.

Blade: The spear point blade is delivered in a high height saber grind that delivers good slicing performance while retaining plenty of durability for chopping or batoning. 1095 high carbon tool steel is tough, easy to sharpen and takes a very fine edge. The black powder coat finish helps provide some corrosion resistance but regular cleaning and a light coating of oil goes a long way in maintaining a rust free blade.

Handle: Beefy Micarta handle scales are attached to the full tang blade with flat head screws which can be removed utilizing the steel washer attached to the sheath. The scales are tough and resistant to the elements while delivering excellent traction even when wet. A forward finger choil allows added control for detail work while the full length handle provides plenty of room for chopping or heavier tasks.
