Tidioute #62 Pocket Carver Three Blade Cocobolo Wood

The #62 Easy Pocket Carver from Great Eastern Cutlery, is a timeless classic Congress pattern with a timeless look and feel. The traditional, shallow concave back and shallow convex top define the pattern in this three blade "carver" configuration: one medium Wharncliffe and two small Wharncliffe blades. A polished shield and bolsters add a touch of class while the contoured handle and satin blades are all business. This Tidioute version comes with Cocobolo Wood covers and Crown shield.

Blade: The #62 Pocket Carver comes with three blades: the primary blade at one end and two more at the opposite end of the handle. The primary blade is a mid-size, flat ground Wharncliffe blade riding on both springs for tackling the heavy work when whittling and woodworking. Two smaller flat ground Wharncliffe blades ride independently on the dual springs and are set up for finer work to keep you going to the end of the project. All three 1095 high carbon steel blades open with a snappy half stop via a classic nail nick and have a fine satin finish and a subtle top swedge for style and performance.

Handle: Cocobolo Wood handle scales are fitted perfectly between the dual nickel silver bolsters of the gently curving handle which tapers slightly toward either end. The smooth wood covers offer a warm, natural feel for comfort in the hand and striking grain pattern with good durability and weather resistance. All nickel silver has a polished finish on the #62 including the "Pocket Carver" Crown Shield. Brass liners and pins round out construction.

Each #62 ships rolled up in wax paper inside a shipping tube with company information on the front.
