This Heretic Koschei pairs a Battleworn Bronze MagnaCut drop point with a Blizzardworn aluminum chassis. The first crossbar lock Heretic has built, it is a full-size manual folder for general cutting.

• Battleworn Bronze MagnaCut Drop Point - The drop point wears a Battleworn Bronze finish in MagnaCut steel, a premium powder stainless that holds an edge longer than most stainless steels and resists rust with no care beyond a wipe-down. 
• Blizzardworn Milled Aluminum Scales - The milled aluminum scales receive a heavy stonewash over raw metal, producing a weathered silver-and-gray Blizzardworn finish. Edges are chamfered for built-in comfort, and the handle fills the hand for a safe, secure grip.
• Crossbar Lock & Ambidextrous Action - An elongated slot in the blade serves as the opener, and the blade rides out on bearings for a glass-smooth action. The crossbar lock engages the tang with no perceptible play and releases from either side, with a stainless clip that reverses for either hand.
• Modular Scales and Folded Stainless Backspacer - The handle scales can be removed without disturbing the pivot, allowing a simple scale swap rather than a full disassembly. A bronze wrap-around backspacer, folded from stainless steel, ties the frame together.

The Heretic Knives Koschei

The Heretic Knives Koschei introduces the first crossbar lock from this second-generation USA shop, which has built knives in small batches since 2015. Heretic designed it with a user configurable platform in mind. The handle scales come off without disturbing the pivot, so an owner can change the look without retuning the action. The lock releases from either side and the stainless clip reverses, making the Koschei fully ambidextrous.
