Hinderer Knives XM-18 3" Black Two-Tone Spanto Working Finish Flipper

The Hinderer Knives XM-18 3" Gen IV Working Finish Spanto with Black 3D textured G10 is a precision-crafted hard-use tactical folder in an EDC friendly package. The S35VN blade sports a Spanto grind with the utility of a spear point and the tip strength of a Tanto. As the smallest model in the Hinderer XM family, the XM-18 3" was designed for ease of carry while still retaining a hard use construction. Ease of opening and closing one-handed combined with a reliable lock system were targets that have been achieved with the XM-18. Brand new directly from the Hinderer Ranch.

The Blade:  The three inch blade is made from CPM S35VN and can be opened via the integral flipper or dual thumb studs/blade stops. Rick's own 17-4PH state-of-the-art pivot system creates silky smooth operation; however, a bit of wrist action may be needed for flipping as Hinderers often have a light detent. The blade has a Two-Tone Finish, bright satin on the flats and tumbled, black DLC on the grinds and spine. This finish gives a visually striking contrast and a long wearing finish on the working parts of the blade.

The Handle:  The full titanium frame lock and liner have a non-reflective Working Finish, a rugged and attractive finish that hides wear well over time. Hardware and standoffs create one solid package while 3D texturing on the G-10 scale coupled with jimping all around create a solid grip. There is also functional index choil to choke up on the blade for control during fine tasks. This Hinderer XM-18 includes the famous Hinderer Lockbar Stabilizer and two-position Working Finish titanium clip and insert for tip up or down right hand carry.

As with all Hinderer Knives, the XM-18 is completely customizable with a custom finish options in the following hardware: clips, standoffs, lockbar stabilizers, pivot and handle screws and handle nuts.
