Rick Hinderer built the Project X to take on tough, everyday cutting work, machined to tight tolerances in Shreve, Ohio. An integral flipper tab opens the blade one-handed, and the titanium frame lock carries overtravel protection and a steel lockface insert so the lockup holds up over years of use. A textured titanium frame matches the textured G10 presentation scale for a consistent grip, and a titanium pocket clip sets up tip-up, right-hand carry. The Hinderer Modular Backspacer System doubles as a tool that takes the whole knife apart for cleaning or swapping in accessories.
