Forged from a single piece of 425 High Carbon Stainless, the Ka-Bar Elishewitz Pocket Tool (EPT) is a thick-stock EDC fixed blade with a skeletonized handle and a stainless wire clip.

• One-Piece Forged Build - Blade, handle, and finger ring are drop-forged from a single piece of stainless steel. There is no pivot, no hardware, and nothing to work loose, and the raised KA-BAR OLEAN NY lettering across the handle reads more toolbox than display case.
• 425 High Carbon Stainless Blade - This steel gives up edge retention to premium alloys, but it takes a working edge back in minutes and stands up to moisture without fuss. The flat grind runs through stock about as thick as three stacked pennies, leaving a broad drop point with real spine behind it.
• Reversible Wire Clip Sheath - The USA-made hard sheath takes the blade with a firm click and holds it upside down. The loop-over wire clip flips to either side for deep front-pocket carry or a spot on a pack strap, a setup you almost never get on a fixed blade.
• Forged Finger Ring - The ring at the butt end locks your grip with no slip under pressure. It doubles as an index point on the draw, hooking a finger and pulling the knife clear of a pocket in one motion.

The Ka-Bar Elishewitz Pocket Tool (EPT) is part of a small family of drop-forged tools, knives pressed from a single billet with no scales, screws, or moving parts. Ka-Bar leaves those surfaces smooth, and the knife still fills the hand better than its footprint suggests, with the ring locking the little finger in place. Allen Elishewitz, a former Force Recon Marine designing knives since the mid-1980s, aimed this one squarely at pocket carry instead of the belt. The whole design answers to that, a fixed blade sized and sheathed to live where a folder lives.
