The Kabar Fighter has the DNA of the USMC fighting knife, a functional design with over 100 years of tradition, overbuilt for heavy use as a combat field knife. A longer, wider blade gives you the advantage in combat or survival scenarios while the handle cockpit will be as familiar as your classic Ka-Bar. This version has a plain edge, black coated 1095 Cro-Van blade, black Kraton G handle, and matching polymer sheath.

Blade: Black coated 1095 Cro-Van high carbon tool steel is delivered in a long, broad clip point profile with a hollow saber grind for powerful slicing with solid durability. A non-reflective black coating on the blade offers added corrosion resistance and discreet use while the 1095 steel is easy to maintain and takes a razor sharp edge.

Handle: The tang of the blade is wrapped in a high traction Kraton G rubberized polymer handle that is durable and highly resistant to the elements. A full steel guard offers additional protection from slipping onto the blade while a hefty steel pommel makes the knife well-balanced and provides an improvised hammer/impact tool.

Sheath: Carries via a hard polymer sheath with nylon drop loop.

1095 Cro-Van: A simple, extensively used carbon steel with low edge retention and corrosion resistance. Easy to sharpen to a fine edge, 1095 can be differentially heat treated for better performance. Cro-Van indicates added alloying elements that improve wear resistance and toughness.
