Based on the popular budget-friendly Mark 98, the 98-R offers the same ergonomic handle design with a practical straight razor blade profile. This fast action flipper is an ideal alternative to the common box cutter utility knife, with a strong liner lock construction, contoured scales and slicing, blunt tip blade. The 98-R comes with a gray coated 5Cr15 stainless steel blade and orange and black G10 handle scales.

5Cr15: Chinese stainless steel similar to 440A. High corrosion resistance and toughness with fine grain and good sharpening response. Gets razor sharp, low edge retention.
