The Kershaw Launch 18 will fit the bill of Launch 11 fans and daily grinders alike! A great size for daily use, the 18's handle has similar stylings without the familiar cutout. The star here is the uber slicery flat ground spear blade crafted from tumbled USA Made CPM-154 steel. It launches out of the handle when you're ready and locks up strong via the button lock actuator. The 18 is a super clean design sure to please day in and day out.
CPM-154: is a particle metallurgy version of 154CM that benefits from the refinement in the PM process providing it with an increase in toughness and easy of finishing. CPM-154 takes a very fine edge and is highly corrosion resistant. Edge retention is going to be on-par with CPM S30V while being easier to resharpen. A great all-around blade steel.
