The Leek from Kershaw Knives is a USA Made SpeedSafe Assisted folder who's design has withstood the test of time. The Leek family continues to grow and please new generations of knife enthusiasts. It's ergonomic, lightweight and has a blade shape friendly to the every day user.
The Blade: Right at three inches of razor sharp Sandvik cutting edge on this modified drop point. It has a black DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon) coated finish and just flies out of the handle. Dual thumb studs or integral flipper tab deployment for easy-opening. Some light jimping on the spine for grip.
The Handle: Desert tan anodized 6061-T6 aluminum handle scales are torx screwed to stainless steel liners, with one forming the lock. The tan color is a fade-resistant, scratch-resistant dye that's in it for the long haul. The anodization process also strengthens the aluminum. The Leek is well-balanced and has a great feel in-hand.
It includes a two-position pocket clip for tip up or down carry and Tip-Lock slider safety for keeping the blade from firing when closed. Brand new product by Kershaw Knives.
