Niolox performs like an upgraded D2 with high corrosion resistance and wear resistance for extended edge holding. This model comes with super tough Green Micarta handles and a classic leather sheath. About Niolox: Lohmann Niolox is a stain resistant tool steel with good edge holding and decent toughness. Even without being a particle metallurgy steel Niolox is a very fine grained steel, which is a positive and aids with edge stability. Performance will be comparable to AISI D2 in terms of wear resistance with better edge stability.
