Blade: Satin finished Sleipner tool steel offers an excellent balance of performance and durability with a shallow hollow grind and clip point profile perfect for hunting, camping, and other outdoor use. A crowned spine adds comfort in heavy use and a touch of style with a prominent index guard and thumb ramp for added safety.

Handle: Machined and contoured canvas Micarta scales pair with the crowned full tang spine for unparalleled ergonomics and a secure grip even when wet. Blasted gray Torx hardware provides secure attachment and easy removal of the scales if required for cleaning or maintenance. An exposed portion of the tang at the pommel has a hole for lanyard attachment.

Sheath: Carries via a hand stitched, high quality leather belt sheath with snap loop closure.

Sleipner Tool Steel: is a cold work tool steel from Bohler-Uddeholm with an attainable hardness of 60-64 Hrc. This modification of the classic AISI D2 tool steel has improved toughness with good edge retention and chipping resistance. Lionsteel reports edge retention similar to M390.
