MachineWise Sonora #2280 Bronze Anodized Sunray Textured Ring Glyph Titanium Brass Bolster S90V Lightwash Button Lock Flipper (3.35" Blade)

MachineWise put the Sunray pattern on Sonora #2280 under bronze anodizing, alongside the Ring Glyph. An integral titanium flipper with a brass bolster, it runs a Lightwash S90V blade and a button lock for general cutting.

• S90V Lightwash Drop Point Blade - A premium powder stainless, S90V is carbide-dense enough to hold an edge longer than most stainless steels, at the price of needing diamond or CBN plates to bring it back. An ultra-fine Lightwash finish cuts glare, and the grind runs thin behind the belly, getting a touch thicker towards the tip for added strength.
• Bronze Anodized Sunray Textured Ring Glyph Titanium Handle - Sunray milling radiates out across the frame under bronze anodizing. This knife carries a Ring Glyph lasered pattern as well, which allows the bare titanium to show through. The brass bolster mounts as a separate part, and the lanyard hole sits at the rear.
• Stainless Bushing Pivot - A stainless bushing pivot tuned to tight tolerances lets the blade flip fast and free off the flipper tab. The action stays glassy from the first press, with no grit and no wobble. This ranks among the smoothest folders in the class, and it fires the same way every time.
• Raw Titanium Deep-Carry Clip - Milled titanium, tumbled and left unanodized, the clip hangs on one hidden screw and sits low enough that only it shows above the pocket. It can be mounted to either side using the included T15 bit in the box.

The MachineWise Sonora

The MachineWise Sonora is the first folding knife from a small five-person shop in Phoenix, Arizona. It carries into an everyday format the flipper background that MachineWise earned building balisongs, built around a button lock for secure, repeatable lockup and quick one-handed use. The frame is an integral, cut from a single block of Grade 5 titanium so the whole handle is one solid piece instead of a sandwich of slabs and hardware. Every Sonora leaves the shop numbered, with the blade hardness tested and written on the QC card in the box.
