Details
The Gunshin folder from MCusta quality Knives is an expert example of Seki Japan craftsmanship. It has elegant, yet intimidating lines with comfort and flow throughout. This version features textured Ivory Micarta handle scales partnered with a shaving sharp Damascus steel blade.
The Blade: Done in a modified spear point style offering its user ample slicing ability plus piercing power backing it up. The 33-layer nickel damascus with VG-10 core promotes the ultra-modern look of the upper swedged grind and dual thumb stud openers. It opens on the left or right hand side smoothly and consistently. This one comes to the open position up against a large stop pin inside the handle and locks up solid via a liner locking mechanism. Sharp, sleek and clean.
The Handle: Full length stainless steel liners are a strong backbone for the textured micarta scales attached to them. These ivory micarta scales look great and feel even better. The wavy texture adds to the overall grip in hand while also revealing the character of the micarta. The grain lines of the fabric really shine though. The Gunshin has open standoffs construction which will make cleaning a breeze plus a small lanyard hole near the bottom.
This one ships in and carries via a brown leather/black nylon belt pouch. It does not include a pocket clip.
