Mick Strider Custom XL Nightmare Grind Tanto Hamon Textured Titanium

The Mick Strider Custom XL model is the yeti of the bunch and not for the faint of heart. Coming in at just under ten inches overall, this custom version was handmade by the man, the myth, the legend: Mr. Mick Strider.  Tactical precision at it's finest, this unique XL is a work of hardcore art any collector of the genre would be proud to own.

The Blade: Mick crafted this blade into a piercing Tanto with a powerful recurve Nightmare Grind that offers an intimidating look and collector appeal. The precision, patience and technique that goes into every blade is absolutely astonishing for a knife lover. The nightmare grinds on this blade are satin finished under a dark and smokey custom Hamon while the flats come with apocalyptic Manhattan Project textured finish. A long thumb ramp with subdued notching blends into the false top edge. It operates smoothly via an ambidextrous oval cutout on the flats riding on big phosphor bronze washers and a massive chain ring bolt pivot. The choil is signed M. Strider. 

The Handle: Over 5 inches of Manhattan Project textured, anodized titanium with beautifully chamfered edges and texture galore. It's a spectacular combination of blues and golds with a few subtle hints of purple here and there. You have to see in person to fully appreciate this unique finish. Construction on this beast is lots of beefy titanium with oversize titanium barrel spacers, hardware, blade stop and pivot bolt. The XL also utilizes the Hinderer Lockbar Stabilizer to prevent over-extension of the bar. A ³⁄₄" slot is cut from the bottom to allow for lanyard customization. 

The Custom XL is equipped with a hand made tip-up, right hand carry Damascus pocket clip with custom texture and flame anodized finish. This one ships in a USA Made black, padded zipper pouch with "MSC-XL" and "Killerman and Sons" rocker patches on the front.
