The manual Socom Elite offers high-end Microtech performance in a full-size, manual operation tactical folder. This version comes with a stonewashed, plain edge M390 stainless steel clip point blade and black hard anodized aluminum handle with black traction inserts.

Blade: The stout 4-inch blade comes with a rugged, wear hiding stonewashed finish. A high height saber grind offers an excellent combination of durability and slicing performance, while the clip point provides powerful piercing with good toughness. Operation is fast and smooth on the ceramic ball bearing pivot, deploying via dual thumb stud stop pins. The blade comes marked with serial number and date of production.

Handle: Constructed tough, lightweight aircraft grade aluminum the handles are black hard anodized for discreet use. Strategic jimping, black traction inserts and a tapered pommel end deliver an exceptionally secure grip. The titanium liner lock inset in the rear frame delivers solid and reliable lock up and smooth operation thanks to the hardened steel insert. Torx Hardware and a hardened steel glass breaker insert complete the construction.

Carries via a right hand, tip down, stainless steel pocket clip.

Bohler M390: Bohler M390 (analog to CPM-20CV and CTS-204P) is a premium powder metallurgy (PM) stainless steel with high carbide content for some of the highest edge retention and corrosion resistance, while being relatively easy to sharpen. A popular choice for high-end production and custom knives. Relatively high carbide volume and coarse microstructure gives this steel lower toughness.
