This version has a two-tone Apocalyptic M390 Tanto blade and black aluminum handle.

Blade: The M390 Tanto blade has a clean slicing plain edge with a rugged matte blasted and tumbled "Apocalyptic" finish on the grinds. A high saber grind provides solid slicing performance with a strong, piercing tip that is ideal for flat surface cutting. Action is fast and smooth thanks to the double action automatic mechanism. Move the thumb slide up to deploy and down to retract. An internal spring remains at rest in both the open and closed position to reduce wear.
Handle: A smooth, hard anodized 6061-T6 aluminum handle comes contoured for comfort and smooth pocket transitions. Strategic grooves around the sides improve traction for a secure grip during use. Microtech's proprietary hardware, glass breaker end and pocket clip complete the construction.
Carries via a stainless steel pocket clip.

A popular choice for high-end production and custom knives, M390 is relatively easy to sharpen, with toughness on par with 440C/154CM.
