Based on the classic Ultratech platform, the Microtech UTX-70 is a scaled down version coming in at 70% of the size of the standard Ultratech making this double action auto ideal for everyday carry. This Signature Series version has a black anodized aluminum handle frame, carbon fiber top, Damascus Tanto blade and ringed hardware.

Blade: The Tanto profile blade has a single plain cutting edge with stylish dual fullers for visual appeal. The blade is made from pattern welded stainless Damascus, etched to show the contrasting steels, and provides modern performance with stunning good looks. The sub-3 inch blade features a double action mechanism for smooth and fast operation. Move the thumb slide up to deploy and down to retract. An internal spring remains at rest in both the open and closed position to reduce wear.

Handle: Smooth, black anodized 6061-T6 aluminum forms the tough, lightweight handle frame with a handsome carbon fiber top for added style and weight reduction. Rounded edges create a comfortable feel in-hand and smooth transition in and out of your pocket. The UTX-70 is slimmer than the Ultratech or UTX-85 allowing it to be carried in a watch pocket or shirt pocket as well as via the clip. Construction is completed with Microtech's proprietary two-tone Ringed hardware, glass breaker end and pocket clip with individual serial number/date of production.

Stainless Damascus: Stainless Damascus offers the performance of a modern stainless steel while delivering a unique look from the pattern welded layers and acid etched finish. Available in multiple patterns, stainless Damascus gives a knife a striking and singular look. Composed of two stainless steels, this Damascus delivers excellent corrosion resistance and toughness with good hardness for edge retention.
