The Ray Cover Sr. Custom Single Blade Trapper is an exceptionally handmade piece that not only offers a handsome traditional aesthetic, but also delivers on superior function. The Slip joint folder has a single hand-rubbed 154CM stainless steel blade, hand fitted and pinned Burgundy linen Micarta handles and dovetailed stainless bolsters. Makes the perfect addition to any collection.
Brand new condition from a private collection
Blade: The drop point style blade is made from 154CM stainless steel with a hand-rubbed satin finish. A generous nail nick assists with purchase for opening. The strong back-spring has a pronounced half stop for secure operation. The blade is Marked R. Cover on front side of the blade and 154CM on back.
Handle: A rugged yet elegant linen Micarta handle has been accented with vibrant red fiber liners all pinned to brushed stainless liners. The handle scales are very slightly contoured for a palm filling grip. Finishing out the traditional feel are dual, dovetailed bolsters of brushed stainless steel.
Pouch: Includes a soft velvet pouch for carry and storage.
