Reate Knives and Tashi Bharucha join forces again in this elegant, collaborative design, the T3000. Bharucha's signature modern and ergonomic design is in full effect on this compact frame lock flipper. The contoured, faux integral handle design makes for a comfortable user and striking visual appeal. This version has a two-tone M390 blade and handsome carbon fiber inlay. Style and function find a home in the Reate T3000.

The Blade: Made with high performance M390 from Bohler, the T3000 has a robust recurve, clip point blade with a beautiful satin finish. A ceramic bearing pivot and dialed in detent deliver fast, smooth, reliable deployment of the 3 inch blade.

The Handle: Two solid slabs of titanium fit together perfectly at the spine giving the appearance of an integral design. The handle slabs are finished with an attractive matte grey media blast and are held together with titanium Torx hardware. An inline hole is provided for lanyard attachment. The front of the handle is outfitted with a precision fit carbon fiber inlay that outlines a geometric arm of titanium that is echoed in the shape of the 3D machined titanium pocket clip on the reverse side. A simple, robust integral frame lock is equipped with a steel lock face insert/over travel stop and delivers solid, secure lock up and smooth operation.

M390: Bohler M390 has become an extremely popular choice for high-end knives thanks to its extreme edge retention and corrosion resistance. This means lots of cutting before sharpening and "wipe and go" maintainence. Another great feature of this steel is its ability to resist burr formation during sharpening. Comparable steels are CTS-204P and Duratech 20CV.
